Vision Originality Technique
ImpactFirst of all, I just want to say that I like this picture, a lot. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" title=" (Smile)"/> But there are some things that I do see wrong.* The picture is blurry and I think it would look better sharper and crisper.
* I have NO idea what is going on with that mirror, I don't like it. I think you were trying to go for his reflection to show that he's being swallowed up by darkness? I like the concept, but I think you need to go back and fix it a lot.
* Regarding the mirror, there is that random flash of light in there? It looks very out of place.
* I don't think your pose is working out that well for this picture. The whole squatting pose is just unflattering on everyone. Maybe just completely sit for it or stand?
* Your emotion in the picture, it doesn't seem to be... all there. At this point in Shiki; Natsuno has become a jinrou, his best friend is a shiki, his mom 'moved' away, his dad has gone crazy, he's gotten attacked by Tatsumi and told to either join them, or die. While Natsuno is a strong person and not really the type to show many emotions, I think that during this time in the series, him breaking down wouldn't be inappropriate at all. After all he is fifteen, I don't know any fifteen year olds who wouldn't break down if they were in his shoes. Like, one thing I can point out is how you have your hand on your face. It looks like you're just placing your hand on your face. Someone who wanted to scream would have their hand much more tensed and clenched up. Hell maybe even slightly pulling at their hair. Even though I can't see your face much, there doesn't look to be much emotion on it either. You don't look like you want to scream.
